Well, that time has arrived. The browns and greys of Winter are setting in
and soon it will be time to start picking up supplies of rock and gravel so that the trackwork can properly be re-done.
In the meantime, having a much larger village has presented new
opportunities.

It's Christmas, and all the village people have worked hard to transform
their community into a wonderland of lights.
And, yes, those same two guys who built the road are finishing up with the
Christmas tree!
The church is tastefully lit, the 'big' house on the hill, a little less so. |

The arrival of Skeena Pacific Railway's Christmas train is always a big
event. With the loss of Old Number 3, they were unable to double-head under
steam, so the consist was a little smaller than in years past. |
