With Spring comes additional assessment of what changes or
additions need/could be made, even after the new plants jump out of
the ground. As mentioned, the brown patch between the tracks will
become the 'new' Dee's Junction village, but it will have to wait so
that whatever plants are hidden can be found, and moved if
necessary. Or at least marked for next Spring. |

With very little vegetation in the way, North Kalum Yard is always a
candidate for fiddling. This time we extended the yard tracks
another 4 feet and relocated the wye. Since some fool (that would be
me), never thought that the yard would get so big, we have had to
work around the 'control' stand, as redoing all the wiring is not in
this years' plan. |

The 'control' stand does need some help, though. Having added the
wye, relocated several tracks and generally changed things, the
block diagram is now out-of-date and the need for a bigger panel has
emerged. One of the thing about garden railways you can always count
on is that there is more to do. And I love every minute of it. |
