Part of any garden railway are the miles
(kilometers?) of wire laid in to operate switches and the like. In
this case, with the relocation of the turnouts for Dee's Junction,
new multi-strand wire has been set out to make the new locations
'live'. |
| The wiring is terminated at a junction block, being hidden
inside one of the village houses. The green poles in the upper
picture are, for our story, new, aluminum power poles. They carry
the electricity to heat and light our village. Can you tell what
they are really? |

With the roof back on, and the mud from many rainstorms clearly in
place, the residents at Number 26 are ready to settle-in for the
evening. I've got to wash that siding, sometime. If you really
looked closely at the top picture, you can see 'green stuff'
starting to show up. Spring may not be far away. Now is the time to
be working on all those hard-to-reach places before the garden makes
them even harder-to-reach. |
