Another project that had been planned for sometime, was a wye or a turntable at North Kalum. This would allow engines to be turned if needed. The wye was chosen as being the most straightforward (and most easily powered). Here the un-ballasted track has been laid a a car of logs used as a test.
Maintenance is always a problem and vegetation growth on and around the track a nuisance. But this is ridiculous! The 25 ton crane has been brought in to remove some offending plant material along one of the newly-constructed sidings at Dee's Junction.
